50 coffees with 50 strangers
Because the best stuff in life usually starts with a good conversation...
There’s something we don’t talk enough about:
How much of life comes down to who we talk to.
Not just your best friends. Not your business partner.
I’m talking about the people you almost didn’t meet.
The ones who show up randomly.
A friend of a friend at dinner.
The person sitting next to you on a flight.
A total stranger who says something that sticks in your brain for weeks.
We’ve all heard the stories.
“I met my co-founder at a barbecue.”
“I landed my dream job because I sat next to the right person at an event.”
“Someone I barely knew introduced me to an investor who ended up changing everything.”
These moments look like luck.
But really, they’re the result of one thing:
Being open.
And I don’t know about you, but lately I’ve felt like I’ve been living inside a bubble.
Same circles. Same ideas. Same conversations.
It’s safe. Familiar.
But it’s also… limiting.
So I’m doing something about it.
Something small, but intentional:
50 coffees with 50 strangers.
Here’s the setup:
📍 Rue du 31 Décembre 38, 1207 Geneva
📅 Thursday afternoons
⏳ 45 minutes, max
🗣 In English or French
🎯 No goal, no pressure—just a conversation
It’s inspired by Maxime Barbier’s “100 coffees” experiment.
It’s all about breaking the rhythm.
Opening doors that don’t exist yet.
Letting curiosity drive, instead of outcome.
Because I’ve realised something:
We spend so much of our time with people who are just like us.
Same job titles. Same interests. Same bubbles.
And without meaning to, we narrow the lens through which we see the world.
But when you talk to someone outside of your usual crowd, things happens.
They ask different questions.
They bring up things you’ve never considered.
They challenge the way you think.
Not every coffee will change my life.
But any one of them could.
And that’s enough for me.
If you’re in Geneva and want to grab a coffee, let’s do it.
Whether we talk life, work, curiosity, or the best burger in town, I’m up for it.
Keep on rocking 🤘
